The energy of Wellnessología

Wellnessología began with a meaningful encounter. Lía Segade met Eloísa Aguayo on Linkedin in connection with the International Massage Tournament held in Mexico City in May 2026.

Eloísa brought together professionals who shared the same values and the same vision : to promote an ethical approach to massage competitions : one in which technique, professional posture, appropriate draping, client privacy and respect for the body are genuinely upheld.

Their ambition extended far beyond the competition itself. They wanted to restore dignity, recognition and nobility to the profession of massage therapy. This shared commitment led to the creation of the Mesa Empresarial : a collaborative group dedicated to listening to practitioners, conducting surveys, identifying the realities of their work and proposing meaningful improvements.

Lía Segade then suggested expanding this initiative globally. From that vision, Wellnessología was born : a global alliance of wellness professionals committed to observing and understanding the professions, developing clearer classifications, raising standards and, above all, restoring dignity to the people who care for others.
